Started with an email to my college school outlook email from a different email (someone at the school), opening to "Faculty, Staff, and Students," saying to reply to [email protected] with your personal email and not your edu email. (in this email they claimed: "This opportunity should be done at leisure taking at most 1 hour per day,2-3 times a week and earn $550 Weekly.." and that we could work from home or school and "serves as a gateway to pay all expenses incurred on campus".) I emailed the given email saying I was interested, giving my name, age, and the college I go to, asking if the job was still available. They sent back a very long email that repeated itself a lot and was not quite using proper English. he opened with "How are you doing today ? I am Thomas Greither, a busy business owner Lakewood CHARITY FOUNDATION, looking for a great local personal assistant. I would love to find a detail-oriented and personal assistant who loves organization, enjoys learning new things, as well as generally helping out with whatever is needed." and then saying, "Work time is up to 8 hours a week, and hours can be split throughout the week. You'd have to choose what hours work best for you." The first task that he gave me was: "I make donations to 2 orphanage homes every month and, In your capacity you will receive a check payment from me, which you will use to purchase some toys, Gift Cards and other gift items for the orphanage homes. I will email you the list of all items to be purchased at the store and all the necessary information on how to get it mailed out to the orphanage homes. Then he says to answer these questions: "* Do you have access to a printer ? * Do you have an existing bank account where you can deposit your check ( If YES what's the name of the bank) ? * Reconfirm your present local address for mail delivery. * What is your Mobile # that receives text msg ? * Confirm your full name for the check? * Do you know how to initiate a mobile deposit ?" Closed with: "Kindly make sure you acknowledge this email as that will re-confirm your readiness and willingness to proceed. Make sure to constantly look at my email and will be on stand-by to receive future instructions.
