Description

Received a phone call claiming to be a representative from chase bank, said there was suspiscous activity on the account. Verified they were from chase bank with a text and a email from chase. Then Transferred to another person claiming to be from Chase Bank fraud department, said the account needed to be closed and all funds sent to another account they were setting up to protect their money. Claimed that chase bank employees were under investigation by FBI for fraud so not to speak to anyone at the bank. Then said after the funds were transferred they would get confirmation their new account was set up within the hour. After the victim of this crime realized something wasn't right and tried to speak with Chase Bank Branch manager, the "REAL" chase bank fraud department did NOTHING to protect their customer. Claimed there was nothing they could do!
