Sent a message via messages for a job named Reqroute, Inc. 1879 Lundy Ave. Ste 228 San Juan CA 95131. The contact person is Justin McCarty. I was told this was a data entry job that I was very suited for. Only interviewed via Microsoft Teams App. A check was sent by the company called eGauge Systems, LLC.. Tyler AAron. 203 Mobile Place Brandon FL 33610-3307. The checks address is 1644 Conestoga St Suite 2 Boulder CO 80301 in the amount of $9240.00 for materials. I was instructed to deposit it into my bank (which I did give them the name of and my address) via the ATM and withdrawal it in 24 hrs to purchase the material from their vendors. The contact person was (Justin McCarty) with Reqroute Inc. I was then told to report back with the deposit ticket showing him via a photo it was deposited. After that was done I was told I would be getting a message on how to proceed with training. I know the amount of money they sent is bogus and I have NOT done anything with it. I am worried because they did get my name, address and bank name. Please advise me on the next step I need to take. If this is a scam I hope this person can be stopped of and punished so they cannot do this to anyone else.
