Facebook ad for vintage corvette including pictures and details. Was an online auction of a consignment vehicle. Email information was common for online auction. Paperwork with invoice BOL was typical as well. Review several sites that had reviews of the company to verify authenticity. All of these are also fake forums- didn't think to try to interact with them, just read them. Wire transfer info was typical of a purchase and Citibank was a reputable institution. No car received. No correspondence after wire transfer made. Further investigation showed a scam. Review sites part of the scam are found when searching the company names. There are many. The URLs now seem evident but the website names were believable.
