So this company emailed me about influencing for their brand. They had an agreement with all information on it. I took a risk and signed it. I had to pay $100 upfront through cashapp for the shipping. They were going to ship me 30 free items to try for 3 months and do videos and give my honest opinion. They said it was ready to go to ship to my address and have my phone number for any concerns. Then they said I had to speak to the shipping department to confirm everything and this is where I really felt this is a little odd but I was taking a risk. So I started speaking to the guys through a messaging app and said I had to choose an insurance plan for the shipping of products. I really thought it was weird and so I emailed the company and I understand the insurance coverage but it should be included. So they said they will pay half and that I would spend $130 for the other half. So spent hours trying to pay the insurance and had to pay it through MoonPay or bit pay to finally go through. I said ti my self I dont think this is real as it shouldn’t be this exhausting etc to pay someone. But I was told to pay $200 instead of $130 because of fees through bitcoin etc. which I didn’t like but still shooting a shot. And never had this experience before. So after all that of waiting to receive tracking, the shipment department said that they had me send it to the wrong account which is not my fault and that they mentioned that a refund would be in place and be a bit to receive it as I paid through PayPal on behalf of bit pay. So then they want to do it again through but pay but it another way through PayPal. And then said it would be $150 So they are blowing up my phone constantly and is exhausting. I have all screenshots and emails and conversations etc. now I messaged the brand on Instagram and through their online website and they emailed me back saying that is not us and someone is impersonating us and they are using a different email. So as of now I lost $300 and not sure if getting refund back for $200 I emailed them today explaining that I can’t go through with it and they keeps making me feels it’s my fault etc and that they will lower it to $100 instead of $150 and that they will pay me extra $2000 before making my first video right after my products ship for the inconvenience of the past 2 weeks.
