I was contacted via email about my McAfee subscription on 11/14/24. I called the number on the email and when they asked if i had a computer i told them no not right now they hung up on me. I then googled what i thought to believe McAfee's customer service number. However, the person i talked with was impersonating McAfee. They got access to my computer and cell phone. Once i realized it was a scam based on the name that was on the billing. It was jinigram LLC i knew it was not McAfee. I went on McAfee website directly and called the number on there legitimate website. They advised i did have an account but they did not get the money and this is a scam that happens. I went on the website directly and got a subscription so i can protect my phone/computer. I even factory reset my laptop and combed through my phone to ensure to delete anything i had never seen before. I am now getting calls everyday since many times a day saying that my payment did not go through. Today i got a call saying they were wondering why i disputed the charge. I want this company stopped.
