I booked an overnight hotel stay via "Luxe PGH Homestays" website: luxepgh.co. They also have listings on Airbnb and seemed legit. They sent confirmation email with the alleged property address: 4901 Friendship Ave Apt 5 and stated checkin code would be received the day of our stay. They also requested a copy of my drivers license before the code would be sent. Code was never received and they wouldn’t respond to calls, texts, or emails. I now see the street address for the property appears to be copied from another apartment rental site and there are similar complaints on BBB and Reddit. I’ve suspended my credit card and disputed the charge.
