I received an email at my work email address in reference to a person I do not know and an account I do not have (Venmo).
Here is the content of the email: L****** P. Garcia requests $249.00 You paid $249.00 USD for Crypto Currency using Venmo. This amount will be auto deducted every month. If this is not authorized by you, Call Venmo Customer Service to cancel at +1 814 703_4481 . (Toll Free) . Do not reply, Replying to this mail will confirm the order. Pay L****** P. Send money. Transfer to your bank. Make sure you know how to spot payment scams - you might not get your money back if someone scams you. Venmo is a service of PayPal, Inc., a licensed provider of money transfer services. All money transmission is provided by PayPal, Inc. pursuant to PayPal, Inc.’s licenses.
