I found a cat Breeder on Facebook called Maine Coon And Ragdoll Kittens For Adoption/Rehoming and paid $150 to reserve a cat. Then on the day of the delivery they had me contact Speedy Transport and Logistics and they send me an invoice with my personally identifiable information. They told me I needed to buy or rent a crate for transport, hours before the scheduled delivery. They said it was refundable if I rented. So I paid $350 for the rental. At that point, they proceeded to tell me that I needed to pay $550 more to secure insurance for the kitten, calling it a puppy. I didn't check into the obviously fake website deeply enough but realized when they are incrementally asking for more and more money, that this was a scam. I cut my losses at the first level instead of what would have escalated to 3 or more levels of more payment requirements. I tried to get my refund but they I'm blocked on Messenger and emails are going ignored. Please help me shut this scam down.
