I searched for a particular model of prescription glasses online and the website Ezcontacts immediately came up as having them available and on sale for half off. The name sounded familiar to me and I assumed it was a legit business. I input my prescription on the site and paid for the glasses. Funds came out of my account right away. I called them because they did not apply my 25 percent off discount. The representative stated on August 30th they would be refunding me 130 dollars. I never recieved the refund and my credit card company does not show any attempt of them doing so to this day. I called about my glasses 1 week later after payment and ezcontacts stated that they were taking longer to make the glasses (I ordered a pair of prescription glasses that same day of August 30th and l had the glasses in my hand 1 week later.) I called ezcontacts and asked them to cancle the order. They said they will not. I was also emailing them. After I let ezcontacts know on the phone that I would be filing a report they sent me an email stating they would refund my money and cancel the order. September 5th, 2024 this is the email they sent me from [email protected] -Logo Hi Inez, Thanks for reaching out to us and thank you for being a loyal customer. I am writing to inform you that we have successfully canceled your order for the Miu Miu MU 11XV Eyeglasses from the lab! Additionally, we have refunded the full amount of the glasses of $689.68 back to your original payment method. I sincerely apologize for any inconveniences caused by the process and we are right here for you if you have any additional questions or concerns; please don't hesitate to reach out. Best regards, Fernando B Customer Service Team I have not received any of the two refunds they said they would be sending and it is 12 days later. *DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM FROM THIS WEBSITE* I don't understand how they are still up and runinng after the hundreds of people have been scammed. Very disappointed. They seem to have an excuse for everything as I have read so many complaints online and on BBB.
