This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.
I was searching for tickets for an event at Kettle Amphitheater in Missoula, MT. I was in Ticketmaster site on August 11, 2024. When I went back to confirm, there was an offer for tickets at $20 cheaper price. I clicked on that link thinking it was Ticketmaster, which I now can't find, and purchased tickets. I didn't realize this was a scam until I got my bank statement with $311.90 charged to Ticketsoar and could not find a website for a legitimate business.
