I searched for a specific brand, size and color of Patagonia men's hiking pants, and Anunene.com came up with a physical location of 1716 Endeavor Drive, Williamsburg VA 23185-6239. I made the purchase and received a confirmation receipt then tracking info which showed that the point of sale was in China rather than Williamsburg. I attempted to track for several weeks, but was unable to and the package never arrived. I emailed the site and was first told to be patient. Still no package, I emailed again and was told to look around that it arrived, but it absolutely did not. I live off the beaten path and have for over 20 years and have never had a package lost or stolen. I have filed a dispute with my credit card company and feel confident of a refund. I just want to make sure others aren't taken in.

If you are a victim of an online shopping scam, the FBI recommends taking the following actions:

• Report the activity to the Internet Crime Complaint Center at www.IC3.gov or your local FBI field office, which can be located at www.fbi.gov/contact-us/field-offices.
• Report the activity to the online payment service used for the financial transaction.
• Contact your financial institution immediately upon discovering any fraudulent or suspicious activity and direct them to stop or reverse the transactions.
• Ask your financial institution to contact the corresponding financial institution where the fraudulent or suspicious transfer was sent.
