Contacted HP regarding a printer issue. Was on a chat, person said she needed to direct me to another technician. This person called me and I gave him access to my computer, ran through many files circling issues and told me they needed to clean up and provide me a new IP address. The printer issue was solved and they told me it would cost me $199 Then told me I was high risk and needed very strong security, sold me a package for $1640 (put on AMEX). I thrn contacted HP, and they told me their vendors that they outsourse to would never sell such a pkg. I caled AMEX and will dispute the charge. I then called Apple, who gained access to m y laptop and removed all the stuff they put on
