Received an e-mail from [email protected] In an apparent sextortion attempt Email was sent directly to my address with a portion of my phone number on it. Here is the text of the email with my cell phone number excluded: Isn't calling XXX-XXX-XXXX too personal to talk to you. I'm going to cut to the chase. You do not know anything about me whereas I know you and you must be thinking why you are getting this e-mail, right? I placed a Malware on porn website and there's more, you visited this sex website to have pleasure (you know what I mean). And while you were busy watching those videos, your internet browser initiated operating as a RDP (Remote Protocol) that has a keylogger which gave me access to your screen and your camera recordings. After that, the software obtained all of your data and all of your contacts from device including all your photos. Exactly what did I do? It's simply your hard luck that I accessed your bad deeds. After that I invested in more days than I should've digging into your life and made a double-screen video. First part shows the recording you were viewing and other part shows the capture from your web cam (its you doing nasty things). Honestly, I am ready to delete exactly about you and let you get on with your regular life. And I will give you two options which will accomplish your freedom. The two choices are either to turn a blind eye to this e mail (not recommended), or pay me a small amount to close this topic for life. What should you do?
