Emailed me saying they found my profile on ZipRecruiter. The job is for Data Entry and pays $28/hr, remote. It seemed like a dream job. The application process involved filling out an interview form (basic interview questions) and an employment form. On the employment form they asked me if I had a checking account and I put yes, then they asked for my address, which I gave them because my address is online and on my resume anyway. That's when communication stopped. The company seemed legit, but then I looked at the businesses tax standing on the Texas website and it had ceased to exist. I looked for the phone number provided on the "employment form" and that's what led me to the BBB, where someone wrote about a similar experience. The person emailing me was Stephanie Reece.
