Respected stock trader known on twitter and twitter spaces by the trading community as "Banana" with handle @banana3stocks (https://x.com/Banana3Stocks) shared in his profile to dm him about his trading mentorship program (he no longer has this on his profile). Given his trading success and track record, on 6/19/24 I clicked the link he had shared and it forwarded me to his telegram. He shared with me his mentorship program about how he would trade for me at 20-30% until I got comfortable trading on my own using the platform tradingmarkets.live. I was hesitant because the deposits had to be in cryptocurrency and the copytrading aspect. But he was persistent. I started out with a $1000 on 6/28/2024 deposit via my cashapp but he pushed for more deposits, so after bitcoin went down I purchased another $2000 of Bitcoin and deposited it via cash app on 7/4/2024. The trades started to look fishy and I started finding more information on tradingmarkets.live so I blocked "banana" on telegram this past Friday July 5th, 2024 and proceeded to withdraw my funds: $3000 (principal), $783 ("profit" balance"). I received an email from Tradingmarkets.live saying withdrawals will be processed within 24 hours. They have not been processed. Despite claims on their website of "instant" withdrawal and "24/7" support I'm unable to get ahold of anyone from the platform via the "customer success department" chat box, company email, and message form. They finally responded today and it was basically trolling: “we don’t know where your money is” “stop disturbing us” “you don’t have an account with you” and so forth. Their website is still live and fully functional.
