Description
Received a voicemail for my husband on my personal cell number on June 18, 2024. They gave husband's full name and a case number to reference. The voicemail stated that he would be served with legal documents that needed his signature. If he didn't comply, the legal action against him would proceed. Stated to call the 'firm' at 1-844-678-3275, which is the Process Service Agency. They also stated that 'you have been notified of this legal action' before ending the call. (another scare tactic). I called the 'firms' number from an unused line at work, and when they finally answered, I asked who they were - they gave some law firm name (I couldn't really understand them), and then I asked where they were located, and they said Los Angeles, CA... The call came from the envelope number indicated 828-571-9511. When I looked up that number, it stated it was unused. The 844 number is listed as having a high potential for being a scammer. BE AWARE.
