I received an email supposedly from Recreational equipment incorporated (REI) with its mountain logo and offering of a free terumo mug as a "valued customer" and you paid for shipping ($5.99). There was NOTHING about the diverse green nutrients. It all looked very official. I ordered it. However, I then checked with REI themselves and they said that was NOT from them and NOT an email they would use. I called the fraud section at bank, and they have reimbursed me that money. THEN I received another charge for $71.97 from diverse green nutrients and when I called the number shown on banking charge - I was told they were a third party. That i hadn't responded in 4 days after the "free" offer and so I was signed up for monthly products for $71.97. I have filed a fraud claim again with my bank. Since then, I have gotten 2 other "free" offers from "REI" but now I notice they have taken the REI logo off their emails. My bank has told me if I do receive any products for them - to refuse and return them. You cannot find this company online. Below is a copy of the original email I received from them and one I received today. As I said before - the original email had the REI mountain logo but that is now missing.
Today in my junk mail I received a similar email for a free product but now they are sending it via "Costco"
I am also notifying REI again about this.
