On May 17th, I ordered a Yankee Flipper 100% Squirrel-Proof Bird Feeder - picture shown of the item on the website. (Order #00015520). I have purchased a Yankee Flipper before from another company, so I knew what to expect. I paid $33.90 but what I received was a far cry from the legitimate Yankee Flipper. Once received, I immediately reached out concerning their bait and switch tactic. They offered to give me a refund, but I would have to pay for the shipping to China: Mr Zheng, Room 1305, Building 12, Huayao City, Pinghu Street, Longgang District, Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China. 518100 OR they would give me a 20% discount if I chose to keep the merchandise. I was so angry at the blatant misrepresentation and lie, I saw read and told them I’d be returning it. But what is the point??? If they are this unscrupulous, who is to say they’d even reimburse me and who is to say that the address they gave me (if it’s even a legitimate address) is even real??? And to send anything back to China would probably cost more than I paid for the item to begin with. I’m hoping that by my making this claim, this company could be stopped from harming any other unsuspecting customers.
