Description
The scammer advertises low-cost US postage stamps on Instagram. An elderly lady has been buying them, because they advertise as 50% off. They look like real stamps, but a closer look at the website and guidance by the USPS confirms these are counterfeit stamps. From the site: We legally purchase our stamps from thousands of supply partners and the public from businesses such as COSTCO and CVS; from bankrupt and liquidated businesses, to wedding organizers and stamp collectors. Because of this, we can acquire a lot of stamps at great prices and give the savings on to our clients.
