I was contacted about a job from ELVC Inc. I did a phone interview and was offered the position of a local hub associate. I was sent a contract via email for employment which I still have. The terms of the contract were as follows, I would be hired as an independent contractor for a 30 day probation period for which I was to receive $3,350 plus $100 voucher for gas and supplies and a 1099. My job was to receive packages and ship them to the customer. After the 30 day probation period a check was to be mailed to me and they would evaluate my probation to consider full time employment. I have all the emails that were sent to me, the contract I signed for employment, the CRM system I used to complete deliveries and all the receipts for the work I completed. I can forward all emails to someone for review. This is terrible that someone would take advantage of a person who is trying to find a job and scam them for free labor.
