Beginning of April I contacted Liz couvier on Facebook who said she had a place available for rent and I knew her previously with an incident involving animal abuse which was reported already. She had "claimed" she knew ***** **** *** and heard what happened to my dog and reached out. We got to talking and she said she had a place available for April 20th 2024 as her tenants were leaving. I of course jumped on the opportunity thinking I was getting a good deal on rent for an upper for 1775 per month. The pictures she sent were screenshots off zolo.com and I just recently found this out. She claimed her husband was an engineer with bell and I found on linked in he's a labourer for telecom. Said her dad was a neurosurgeon and he's a bus drive etc etc I started getting really worried when I was supposed to move today the 19th of April and she claims her father just died in the hospital and using non stop excuses so I never saw the house don't have a key etc. they gave me a lease for 2 years for 1775 all inclusive and claimed also their brother Jack was a OPP officer which I could find no such person online. They threatened to pull the rug from under me already saying I can forget about it as they "just lost their father" and I was worried about moving everytime we're supposed to do something regarding the house something comes up. The new address was supposed to be *** ******** ***** *********** ****** I did go by the house and saw cars parked so I think I was scammed for 1775 send by e transfer and 600 pro rated rent sent by e transfer in 300x2.
