I received a phone call from a different person asking if i had received paperwork for a complaint issued against me. I was given a reference # 1379014 and told to call 888 314 0033. When i called they told me this was a bad check written out over 20 years on an account with my ex husband. If i did not settle now they were taking me to court and putting a lien on my house. They emailed me a copy of the check written out to Old Country Buffet for $26. All those checks were paid from that account. That bank no longer exists. I advised them to take me to court. He was screaming at me. This was my debt and it can take years to get through the system he said.
