Description

I received a text person from a person named "Josephine" who claimed she was an HR Assistant with the Tandym Group. She sent me the description for an Online Data Specialist role and included the responsibilities, the working hours, and the wage. She then proceeded to say that I needed to send my age, current job, and WhatsApp number to be considered, then after submitting the information, she would ask the HR receptionist to contact me and give me a "detailed introduction". When I pushed back and asked questions, she repeated the request for me to provide my age, current job, and WhatsApp number. I continued to push by asking: 1. where was the opportunity located? 2. Why was WhatsApp needed? and 3. How did they get my contact information? In response to question 3, she replied that they got my number from the "USA recruitment and information database". When I told her that there is no such database and that the communication seemed very fraudulent, and I was reporting them to the Tandym Group and the FBI for investigation, the text messages immediately stopped.
