Description

On/20/2024 I purchased what I thought was a giant polaroid camera on a sponsored Facebook Ad named Ottergiant. I read some of the comments, so I made the decision to purchased based on the positive feedback. The information stated based on the company's responses that delivery turnaround time is 10-15 days. I waited for the confirmation of my payment alonw with other shipping details in which I never received, nor did I have contact information. I located the website and sent my complaint. Susan responded for this email: Support<[email protected]> She sent what was alleged to have been my tracking information along with the website that they used for tracking packages. The website was https//www.track718.com/localeld/p60t and those results stated that the alleged package had been delivered on 05/03/2024 @12:21 p.m. I then replied to Susan that in fact that the package was NOT delivered and advised her that I have proof. I also advised Susan that I have a double security system at my home. One is wired and One is wireless that covers the entire perimeter of my home. The wireless covers front yard and front door with motion sensors and person detection (2 separate cameras) The wired covers the front yard and front door is 24-hour surveillance with no motion sensors or person detection. I also have a camera on the front flap entry of my mailbox (wireless) and the (wired) camera also covers that mailbox. We are notified when our mailbox is opened and closed. We rolled the cameras back the day before 5/2/2024, the day of 5/3/2024 and the day after 5/4/2024 on wireless and wired. We had to watch the footage all day on the days listed on both sets of cameras. I also have a delivery box for Walmart, Amazon, USPS, UPS, DHL & FedX. There was NO deliveries on those days listed and I advised Susan of that. Susan stated that she had gotten with her logistics department and was told that they delivered the package. My question to her was " Who was the carrier?" "What address did you mail it too?" I asked this in 3 separate emails, and she refused to answer. So, I contacted all of companies that I listed above, and they all said about the same thing. The tracking number that I was given was from Hong Kong and if it had been on their manifest then once it got to the US the tracking number would change to show the delivery details and US shipping information. ALL said that no such tracking number in their system. She sent an email back offering 30%, 40% and 60% refund I declined all offers. I paid full price. I did not receive the product. I then began to do some research and found that the product that they are selling they do not have because it was discontinued 2 years ago. Ottergiant was using OLD videos that did not belong to them to use as their selling tool and using others to give feedback that wasn't true. I went back to look for that company and I could not find the video or the company on Facebook. I looked on TikTok and found a 100's of comments that was word for word of what Susan had told me. These comments dated back to 2022 and a lot in 2023. The comments stated the same thing that I am going through as well. I sent Cash App a dispute advising that I did purchase this product, but I did not receive it and was denied without allowing me to prove my part. It is my honest belief that the shipping company Wang Yu Express and Ottergiant are scammers. I have also contacted Wang Yu and they refused as well. Their website states that one is able to contact them about packages. I have video/audio (wireless), 24-hour surveillance (wired), 9 emails to Ottergiant, Several chats with Cash App, Email to Wang Yu Express and the FTC. My next steps are IC3 and the Attorney General. They are allegedly laundering money through online scams. I am ready and willing to provide ALL of my proof.</[email protected]>
