I attempted to order flowers from an online business claiming they were a local business in Taylor, AZ. I became suspicious when the "local flower shop" called us back to tell us they're going to have to substitute different flowers and that they STILL won't be able to deliver them for another week. I asked for their physical address in Taylor AZ and all they would say is Main Street. At that point, we told them nevermind, we would place our order with another shop. They said they needed to transfer us to their manager to confirm the reversal of the transaction. After being on hold for a few minutes, we were disconnected. We called back and were disconnected some more. We contacted our credit card and it had already been billed for the fraudulent flower order, $103, which never should have been charged because they hadn't even confirmed the substitution of flowers or a different delivery day. We cancelled our credit card and are reporting this to appropriate officials.
