Description

I transferred my phone services from T-Mobile to Whoop connect. Utilizing their ACP program. Affordable Connectivity Program is a government-sponsored program. I transferred my cell phone number of 17 years to this program with no problem or hesitation. I decided no longer wanted to use this provider anymore and transfer to a new mobile provider that is not in the ACP program. Since then, I have gotten nothing but hardship for the last month and a half from Whoop connect. Giving me false information such as my account number and my account pin. I have also filed an informal complaint with the FCC, unfortunately that was no help at all because no repercussion is required by them to Whoop connect. Whoop Connect finally response within their 30 day window given from the FCC with false information and a response redirecting the blame. Blaming it on my new provider spectrum who has helped me tremendously trying to establish my port transfer. Now I am stuck in between a rock and a hard place without my number that I would like to transfer out to my new provider. I am scared since the ACP program is supposed to be coming to an end with lost the funding from the government , I would still be without my number because they would not allow me to transfer it and because the business will have to close due to no funding. Unfortunately, I feel that I have fallen into a rock and a hard place like others that may have with these ACP programs collecting benefit checks from the government. Showing no remorse or care about the consumer that is trying to utilize these resources as is supposed to be helpful and not harmful. They do have my social, FOB, and personal information and I fear they would pass this information on to the next fraudulent business they decide to utilize.
