Description

On Saturday 4/20/2024 we found a puppy "Shelia" on the Joyful Sheltie Puppies website. We were told $950.00 for the puppy and transportation. We paid using zelle. We received a signed contract and a payment receipt. We were told Shelia would be transport today 4/21/24. This morning, we received a phone call from a man with a heavy accent saying he was from the airport transportation company claiming to have my sheltie telling me that I needed to answer the email that was sent to me and that I should stay close to my computer to monitor emails. The email came from [email protected]. The email was to confirm transportation and get the tracking # for the puppy. Then we received another "urgent" email stating we need to pay for the rental of a thermal crate $1500.00. At this point we figured it was a scam. I didn't reply. The man called again. My husband answered the phone and called him out that it was a scam the man denied then hung up. The contract I received from the Breeder... Joyful Sheltie Puppies listed the phone # and address (214) 489 7177. *** ******** **** ***** in Woodward Texas
