Description

I received an email that says " I trust this message finds you in good health. We are thrilled to inform you that we have received and carefully reviewed your application for the Data Entry Clerk position at our company. Your qualifications have impressed our recruitment team, and we would like to invite you for an online interview to discuss the role's responsibilities and the compensation package. Your application details have been forwarded to Mr. Glem Rodriguez, one of our experienced Hiring Staff members, who will be conducting g the interview. To streamline the process we kindly ask you to create a Telegram account if you haven't already." I had applied for a job with Arborcare Group Inc through Indeed and/or Ziprecruiter. They interviewed me for a potential data entry clerk position over the Telegram application. After the interview was completed, they said I had gotten the job and that they would supply me with a laptop and software. However, they then said that "The company will be providing you with the training and funds you will be using in purchasing the Laptop and software's you will be working with, You will be receiving a check this week, the check will cover all the equipment you will be needing to start work with I believe the company can ensure you commitment and full trust right?" I then responded questioning why I was receiving the check to fund the equipment when I thought they were going to be supplying me with the laptop. They replied "Third party recruiter states that all new employee purchase all working equipment from the accredited vendor which also comes along with your startup bonus". There was no startup bonus mentioned anywhere in the initial offer. I let them know that I have gone through this issue before and it was a scam and the check was held and no good and I'm not doing it again. They said "This check is 100% legit. You have nothing to worry about. You will receive a physical check via FedEx at your doorstep". I told them it is not legit. I have had that said before and the funds were no good and I am not having that happen again. I let them know that they as a company can by the laptop and software that needs to go on the computer and send it to me if this is indeed legitimate. From there, there was no response.
