Targeted ad from Facebook for Calmieshop.com for a "Ellie the Elephant" Toy that sings and plays peek-a-boo and a dancing duckling toy that plays music and dances. It was a TikTok video that showed in the ad. Everything on the website says "Calmie Shop", but the Shipping Policy page mentions another company name "Señor Silly" - this should have been my red flag that this was a scam website, but I thought perhaps they were owned by a larger company. When I inquired about that status of shipping, they just kept saying shipping time is 5-15 business days not included holidays or weekends. Then when I requested to cancel my order since it had not shipped yet (after 2 weeks), the response I got said they would respond within 24-48hours and then nothing. They were very responsive to emails at first, responding the same day and then no response to my follow up email a few days later. They are a scam company with fake reviews on their website. They never shipped the products. Also, I emailed "[email protected]" and the responses come from another email address: [email protected]. Additionally, their website says "come visit us in Seattle, WA" but there is no address listed so they probably aren't even really located in Seattle.
