Several weeks ago, my wife received a call from a company claiming to specialize in reselling unused weeks of timeshares. Intrigued by the promise of recouping some of our investment, we engaged in discussions with them. They assured us that they would secure lucrative offers for the weeks we hadn't utilized in our timeshare within a timeframe of 6 to 8 weeks. We were led to believe that all our weeks would be sold within this period. However, as time passed, it became evident that the promises made by this company were hollow. Each time an offer was purportedly secured, it differed significantly from the terms we initially agreed upon with the company. Moreover, the company repeatedly canceled these supposed deals at the last minute, always conveniently opting for a phone call to avoid leaving any paper trail of the cancellations. Despite our numerous attempts to cancel our engagement with them, they vehemently denied our requests, leaving us feeling trapped and deceived. It was when we expressed our intention to dispute these fraudulent transactions with our credit card company that the situation took a sinister turn. The company resorted to intimidation tactics, threatening to blacklist our property and refusing to reimburse us regardless of any action we might take. This ordeal has caused us significant distress and financial strain, and we are deeply concerned about the legitimacy of this company's operations. We fear that we have fallen victim to a scam orchestrated by an unscrupulous entity preying on unsuspecting timeshare owners like ourselves.
