Description
I received a text from Jill Tucker, from Forge Biologics, stating she saw my resume on Indeed and reviewed it and thought I would be a good fit for their team. Then asked if I was available to chat. When I responded, She proceeded to text me info about the position. She then asked if I was interested in interviewing for the work from home opportunity. She then proceeded to tell me the recruiter would be interviewing me using Microsoft TEAMS. The recruiter name was Natasha Hairston.. Natasha interviewed me and asked normal questions and then explained the benefits of the position. She then asked me to wait a few moments as she tallied up my interview score to see if I would qualify for the position and she would try to contact my references. This took about 10 minutes then she returned to the TEAMS meeting and said I was hired. She then explained the hiring process and then stated that I needed to get some equipment to do the job. She said that they have a provider that they use to supply all the necessary equipment. I would need a laptop, software, printer and scanner. She then proceeded to tell me that I needed to start right away and I needed to send $460 to the provider as a down payment. I did pause for a moment but did send the provider $460 dollars using PayPal. Then things started to get real weird.......she told me that would only cover the software and that additional funds would be needed to get all equipment shipped to me so I could start ASAP. I would need to send $1680 to the provider. She proceeded to tell me that I would be reimbursed for the funds. I did not send those funds out. The provider email address is: [email protected] and name was Anthony Davis.
