Description
I received an email stating I was perfect for the Administrative Assistant position and to download an app called Teams. A link was provided https://teams.live.com/I/Invite/FEAHXjUh54A_PM5VQI to connect with the interview manager. They first said they would advise me via email if I got the position. Then at the end of the interview (chat) they said I got the job and added, "God Bless You." They asked me what my bank name was and if I preferred to get paid via Direct Deposit, Credit Card Transfer or check. I did not give my bank name and said I preferred to be paid by check. They told me to leave Teams open and they would contact me in the morning and I was to be available. I advised them I wouldn't leave the chat open because I shut my computer down after I'm done using it. I advised them they could text or email me. After this correspondence I checked the BBB and found out that this was someone "spoofing" the Connors Group. I sent an email to Michael Harris and said I'm not interested in the job. I got a text from Hillary Chambers (the Interview Manager) 410-934-2153 stating verbatim, "I have the result for the interview on my desk. I believe you're ready to know your stands?" and an email to welcome me to the Connors Group and to kindly report back online via Teams. I am unable to see an email address. I am not responding and don't plan to. I am glad I didn't give out any information and hope they catch the people behind this!
