Looking to rent a home and found one listed on both FaceBook and Trulia. Reached out and they wanted $50 for us to look at the property. I refused to pay an application fee to look at a place. They then said it was money for a background check. I refused. They then sent the address but said I had to fill out an application and pay the $50 as they had been victims of vandalism and theft. I filled out the application but refused to give the required paystubs or pay the $50. I received an email that the application had been received but they still needed the $50 and it should be sent with friends and family only. They texted me three times between 11:15 and 11:25 PM, then called me at 11:20 PM but hung up when I answered. When I texted the next morning I received a notice that Message Blocking is active.
