Description
I was texted by a number, 947-214-6169, pretending to be a wrong number. When replied to, she said her name was Louise Smith, that she lived in New York, and her TikTok was @louise7745. She said she wanted to be friends and gave a separate number to message through WhatsApp, which was 315-615-2424. After chatting for a few days, she offered to teach me how to invest in crypto and linked me to the website, https://okolx.com/, giving me specific instructions using screenshots on how to use it. I "verified" my account using a front and back photo of my drivers license and my ID number and I bought $9,000 worth of USDT. Then, after the supposed trade, she said I had to pay the platform a fee of $7,000 to get my money, which I never paid. She continued to message me after the supposed payment deadline telling me I can still pay the fee to get my money back and eventually stopped when I told her I wouldn't pay the fee.
