Description

I was approached for a job interview after applying to several jobs on Indeed and Linkedin. I accepted and listened to the job interview via zoom. It was a group interview and we didn't get the chance to talk. the guy sent me a survey to fill out and promptly ended the zoom. At this point, I was already feeling suspicious because for a marketing agency, they are practically invisible online. They say this is because of confidentiality agreements. Long story short, there was another interview the next morning with someone called Nikki, she gave very vague information, and had an answer for everything, but it didn't feel right. She sent another survey. I got a text saying I will be going on to have a phone call this evening. I got a call from the number 917-744-7507 from Nikki, she hung up when i answered. I called back, and suddenly she was available to do the final interview. We talked a bit, and it seemed more and more like this was not legit but I just played along to get more information. She put me on hold to "chat with her team" and came back to offer me the job. Without even meeting me, without doing any tests, etc, after barely even 1 real interview. She is asking me to promptly go to the office this Friday morning, to sign paperwork and get onboarded. The email she sent is asking for a lot of personal details when I come in on Friday, like all my past addresses for the past 7 years and my banking info. They ask I bring a notebook and dress professionally, but don't even want me to bring a form of ID... This is not my first onboarding, this is absolutely a scam. The website also says at the bottom its since 2023 and I just noticed now that at the footer of the email, it says "2024 BBA Philly" when they claim to have been in business for a few years now.
