I found this website payingsocialmediajobs.com and thought it would be a good way to supplement my income. This site said it would charge for the classes and once you finished the classes, you could apply for jobs from their list. Once I finished the training, the jobs did become available but they did not tell you that you have to purchase "credits" in order to bid on jobs. I simply asked to cancel and get my money back because they had a money back guarantee. I was harrassed on the phone by someone from the company telling me that the charge was a reccuring charge. I told him that it was not supposed to be and I wanted to cancel. He said it didn't work that way. He asked me what I did for a living and I told him education, he then said "I'm sorry, you obviously don't make a lot of money". I was immediately insulted and told him to cancel. He hung up on me. I called back and it went to his voicemail. He called me back and I told him that I would report him for fraud and he needed to cancel my account. He called me names and insulted me and even read my address back to me in a threatning manner. I have never been talked to like that from a so called professional. I want their website shut down and help other people avoid this scam. I had to call my credit card company and cancel it to prevent any charges being made.
