They contacted me by email about a job I didn't apply for. I gave them the benefit of the doubt as I know not to give out personal info without verification of them being a legit employer. They did the interview through Microsoft Teams Chat. I've learned that if you do an interview only through Chat, they are probably a scammer. Anyway, they tell you about the job and ask you some simple interview questions. And eventually offer you a job while still on the chat. They will ask for some personal information that you really shouldn't give out until you are 100% sure you are not working with a scammer. Here's a copy of the original email that they contacted me with: Our recruitment team has reviewed your resume for Junior web developer and United Accounting Services Corp believes you are capable of handling this position based on your profile and you have been selected for an online interview and job briefing.(Part-Time) PACKAGE INCLUDES - Commission - Salary - Flexible working hours - Remote Contract (Job)... You are to set up a Microsoft Teams App account and add up the company's HR with this link https://teams.live.com/l/invite/FEAxV4b8h6bklI9cwQ to your contact list, and message her to schedule an online interview/briefing exercise. You are to be available on Microsoft Teams Chat for the interview (ASAP), Your swift and timely response matters to this position as well as the job interview.
