Description

MY spouse purchased a light from this web site after seeing an Instagram ad. The web site then used our credit card information to change us a monthly recurring fee for the "membership" part of the web site. The fee was billed as $29.99 every 4 weeks and increased to $39.99 after 6 months. - We were not notified that we had been enrolled in a membership and there is no option to select (or de-select) this feature on their web site. We were not notified that we had been enrolled. - The Company claimed that we were sent an email with login instructions and that we had 30 days to cancel. However, we received no email. - There is actually no membership portion of their website, and the membership has no benefits. - The company claims that their terms and conditions do not allow for refunds. The entire web site appears to be a scam. - They claim to have 22,611 reviews, all 5-star but you cannot see them. - They claim to be a Delaware corporation but are actually incorporated offshore. - They claim to have been featured in Shark Tank but have not. - They claim to have been featured in tech magazines but have not. - They claim to be the manufacturer of the lights but are merely reselling other products that are sold on Amazon. The Company does have a clause in the Terms and Conditions that they may offer a subscription to their membership portal. However, the portal does not exist, and they are signing people up without their knowledge or consent with no way to cancel. It is a subscription that nobody agreed to for a service that does not exist. In addition, their product marketing about the lights is fraudulent.
