We contracted with Paul and Michael from the NYC Roofing Company to rubberize and repair our church roofs (2). We were told that GACO Silicone roof coating would be used and applied at 1/4" thickness. The agreement states that there would be no leaks and the workmanship would be guaranteed for 12 years. At "completion" the price doubled and, the roof still leaks and my calls and emails are ignored. My text messages are blocked. The addresses listed on the contract are not associated with the business listed. This company is a scam. After further investigation, this is what the family does. I have spoken with Paul, Michael, Tom and Joe. Lie after Lie is told; $17,800 later, the church roof still leak. Paul and his brother came to my house to 'strong arm" me for final payment. They claimed that they had toxic mold material in their truck from the job that they could not bring home to their children. I was presented with the threat that their father would treat me worse than them. I was late for teaching an online Bible study so I gave them payment under duress.
