Description

I was contacted via text, by Andre Castillo and he had received my application via Career Builder and that he would set up an interview for me on Microsoft Teams. I was set up with "Kevin R Walling" the Chief Human Resource Officer of PPG. The interview was all typed questions: and took about 15 minutes to complete. I was told my information was being reviewed by the hiring board and they decided I was a good fit. I asked to speak to him in person and he said he was busy with other new hires. They sent me an offer letter and a w-4 and I9. The offer letter had his name misspelled and I replied to the email he supplied. which was [email protected]. He said he never received it and then asked me to send it to [email protected]. He also told me the company would send me a check to purchase my home office equipment. I asked to speak with him and he said he was not able. At this point I expressed that I did not believe this was a legitimate offer and cut communication.
