I was contacted through my professional portfolio website. I've heard of remote job scams but have never targeted them until now. I've been paranoid about it and did my research when I got this message which I will copy down below. I researched the company, HR person, and social media. Which seemed legit until it was time to send my response to the HR person. That's when I realized the email from the submission was different than the email on their website. Plus there were inconsistencies the the email they sent such as grammar, punctuation, and wording. I googled the email they used for the submission form and it led me here. I wanted to share that it is still happening and I will reach out to the real Amanda to let her know that someone is using her name.
