This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.
Emailed me using the name Ilya Estrin, and linking to this LinkedIn profile https://www.linkedin.com/in/ilya-estrin-82184769/, saying they saw my resume that I submitted (which I never did) to their company, and would like to interview ASAP. Prompted me to add an individual on Microsoft teams named Kimberly Anna that's their HR person to set up an interview. weird phrasing in their email (tho they did fix their spelling of "regards" ahaha). My feeling, this is a con where they "interview" you, tell you you got the job, and then collect you SSN and other personal details and run.
