I applied for a job through Indeed and was reached out via text message from an HR woman with visionary marketing solutions, inquiring about an interview after receiving my resume. I said yes, and I had an organized group zoom interview that was about 12 minutes long. I was notified that I was approved for a second interview, which was a one on one interview for about 30 minutes with a different gentleman. Both interviewers were young men, mid twenties. After the second interview, I was offered the position via text message from the same woman as before. I accepted and scheduled an in-person orientation with them for the following Monday (this was a Thursday). Then, I received a text early Monday morning saying the orientation is delayed two weeks. I was in contact with the main guy who did my second interview, Niraj. His phone number is different and a Texas number, it’s (682) 260 0537. He called and we spoke directly, and he said that he had to go out of town and that was the reason orientation was delayed. But I had a set date and time for Feb 12 at 8:30 and when I arrived it was clear there is no visionary marketing at the address they gave me and my phone calls are going unanswered. I also filled out a background check two weeks ago with a company called Sterling Direct. The website for that is workforce.sterlingdirect.com. I entered my social security number in the background check, which is my main worry. All in all, the whole process was about two and a half weeks, with a couple of different contacts. It definitely felt legitimate in many ways.
