Description
The scammer approached me over mail stating that there is an opening and asked if I was interested in the job. Once I reported yes, he sent me a pdf file consisting of interview questions and screening questions. He asked me to send the answers over email. After sending him my responses, he approached me after two days stating that I have been selected for the role. Once accepted, he asked me for my address, name and contact details and sent me an offer letter, where he asked me to print the offer letter, sign, scan and re-send it to him. All these steps felt a bit suspicious to me (interviews over pdf, signing an offer letter physically instead of using e-verifications and so on). So, I went over to the official website of the company and contacted the support team. I told them what had happened and then asked if the domain I received the emails from belonged to the company. They replied no and asked me not to proceed any further.
