They texted me thanking me for applying for a “mailroom clerk position” on indeed. To which I thought they were referring to a sales associate position that I had recently applied to so I did fill out the form. They didn’t ask for much information, but they did ask for my name, email, and phone number. I also received another email this morning from a supposed Shelby H*****, claiming to work for Verde Fulfillment USA, which I had seen was a scam already reported on here. I don’t know if the two are related but I just wanted to share. They said they would be in contact within 3 business days but I have not received anything. And I called the UPS store and they said they don’t usually send out forms to fill out through text message. Very strange and I hope nothing comes of this situation. Make sure the jobs you apply for align with the jobs you have applied for on Indeed and don’t give anyone any confidential or personal information without having all the details necessary.
