This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.
Apparently, my mother was contact by an entity called Wireless Upgrade, LLC. She does not remember the call but gave them a check number and was billed in the amount of $199.00. The only information I can find is an address in California with no telephone number listed.
