While on Facebook, I saw an advertisement for Talbots merchandise up to 90% off. I should have known better, but I ended up ordered several pieces of clothing, shoes, etc. The total bill was $59.99. I put it on my credit card Dec. 11, 2023. Shortly after, I realized this was a scam. I emailed the address on the order to cancel but was told it was too late to cancel. Subsequently, I received an email giving me a Tracking number and the carrier/delivery as a company called Sprinter. I Googled the carrier and the Tracking number and received what looked like a delivery date of around Jan. 24. However, on Jan. 2, I received via USPS a very small box with no return address, invoice, receipt or any identifying features. The box contained an extremely cheap silver necklace. While I wasn't able to verify if that small box was delivered by Sprinter, when I went back to the Tracking number on the Sprinter website, it in fact showed that my 'package' was delivered Jan. 2. My original order was of several pieces of clothing, shoes, gloves, a hat etc. that would have come in a much larger box. What I received was a very small package with just the cheap necklace. The scam here is that I ordered merchandise from what I thought was a reputable manufacturer, and I received something worthless. I can see how this bogus company might say, 'well we delivered a package' so there should be no dispute. But what I received was not what I ordered. PLEASE SHUT THIS COMPANY DOWN!
