Received this email on 11/16/2023: Hello Supplier, Through this email, I wish to formally request a product price quotation for a selection of goods from your esteemed company which would fit our upcoming project, please could you provide me with a price quotation for the following items below; ITEM: 220AH AGM 12V BATTERY QTY: 100 Units GIONIX SERVICES LLC would like to set up a business credit account with your company via Net terms, we hope that this can be the start of a long-lasting business relationship and your earliest response in this regard would be highly appreciated. Sincerely GIONIX SERVICES LLC David M**** *** **** ****** ** ******* ****** ** ****4 Office Line: ###-###-#### , Cell Phone: ###-###-#### [email protected] www.gionixservices.com Sent them our customer packet to fill out since they did not have a history with us. They filled it out and sent back to us. Started to suspect was a fraud and did not approve their application for credit. Started getting phone calls from other companies asking to speak to Steve Alejandro...he claimed he was from our company and found out he was using our credit application and W-9 form impersonating us to get credit from these companies. Have folder with over 6 companies they contacted and pretended to be us. If you clink on their website: www.chambers-industrial.org it opens to our website with a few changes. Reported them to FTC and FBI Cyber-crimes.
