Description

This is an employment posting opportunity scam that is being posted on FB. The account of the original person who posted the ad is just the front person. They then set you up with another person to do the actual interview. Then you have to download the team app on Google. Once this is done they conduct the actual interview with several questions that they ask to see if you are qualified for the position. You need to understand that this process is done over 3 days. After they have finished with the interview they tell you to wait while they give the results to the person in charge of human resource officer. Then after a few hours, they come back all happy saying how pleased they are with your results and that they have an employment opportunity that is perfect for you. They send you the actual contract hiring you that you must sign and forward it to them. Once this is done they send another email regarding the equipment that will be needed for the job. This list of items is almost three thousand dollars. After they do this you get an email about depositing the funds using one of their cheques to pay for this equipment. They email a copy of the supposed check to you and give instructions on how to not only trim the cheque to make it look more legit. They give you step-by-step instructions on how to deposit the cheque into my account using my phone. Notice this cheque is made payable to me but you have to deposit it by phone because of course there is no real cheque to begin with. The pictures of the cheque are on two separate pages front and back. This is where I got really nervous. I was not comfortable depositing these cheques into my account because I would be responsible if this cheque was not an actual cheque. I did some more digging on reviews for this company that supposedly has 60 000 employees worldwide in six countries. It was just too many red flags with the company and I sent an email to them this morning stating that I was no longer interested in working for them. They need to be stopped. How many others have been taken in by this company?
